Death By Acronym

Death By Acronym (DBA) is a communication syndrome where people engaged in a conversation tend to entrench themselves behind the use of buzzwords or acronyms, pretending they know everything about the technology expressed by the acronym, and using this a sound byte to intimidate the opponent.

I had written this definition on the Wikipedia, inspired by a paragraph in
“Java SOA Cookbook, by Eben Hewitt. Copyright 2009 Eben Hewitt, 978-0-596-52072-4

but the Wikipedia administrator has immediately delete it :o( ... Wikipedia guys can be very alpha-malish sometime.
